Another Successful Year Achieved by the Leaving Certificate Chinese Class at UCD CI

The Leaving Certificate Chinese Class at UCD CI is thrilled to announce yet another remarkable achievement. In the 2022-23 academic year, all 43 secondary school students enrolled in in our Leaving Cert Chinese Class have all achieved the prestigious H1 grade (highest score) in the Leaving Certificate Chinese exam:

• Leaving Cert Chinese Class 1 (Secondary school 6^th year Chinese-Irish mixed class): All 25 students attained the highest score, H1.
• Leaving Cert Chinese Class 2 (Secondary school 6^th year Irish class): All 11 students achieved the H1 grade.
• One-to-one and Secondary School Class: All 7 students secured H1 grade.

These outstanding results are a testament to the dedication and hard work of our CI teaching team, along with the invaluable guidance of Ms Xuan Li from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London.

Due to the exceptional quality of our Leaving Certificate Chinese Class, we received applications from over 60 students this year, with more students continuing to apply.  We are excited to witness the ongoing success and growth of our Leaving Certificate Chinese Class.
