Background

Ms Qihong Zhang holds a Master's degree in International Chinese Education from the School of International Education at Minzu University of China. She has previously engaged in language and cultural teaching at Chachoengsao Secondary School in Thailand and the Confucius Institute at the University of Edinburgh in the UK. Her primary research areas include second language acquisition, international Chinese teaching, and the dissemination of Chinese culture. Since 2024, she has been serving as a teacher at the Confucius Institute at University College Dublin, dispatched jointly by the Renmin University of China and the Center for Language Education and Cooperation.
